Extractives Directory is an informational service operated and published by Extractive Insight LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. By accessing the directory or submitting information, you agree to these terms.

Information, not advice or a rating

Directory content is general information only. It is not legal, investment, tax, technical or other professional advice; it is not a credit rating or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, asset or interest. It must not replace independent due diligence. A profile or project record does not state or imply that a government, authority, holder or other party has acted or will act improperly.

Accuracy, dates and reliance

We aim to present useful, sourced and current information, but do not represent or warrant that any record is complete, accurate, current, available or suitable for a particular decision. Information reflects the sources and review date identified for the record. Circumstances may change without notice.

Submitted content

You must be authorised to submit information and must not knowingly provide false, misleading, confidential, privileged, unlawful or infringing material. You grant Extractive Insight LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to review, verify, edit, structure, reproduce, publish and promote submitted directory information. You retain ownership of material you are entitled to submit. Submission does not guarantee publication.

Editorial discretion and corrections

We may edit, decline, defer, unpublish or correct a listing to protect accuracy, safety, consistency and the integrity of the directory. Publication is not an endorsement, accreditation or independent verification of an organisation, person, project, ownership interest or commercial claim. Our sourcing, conflicts and right-of-reply process is described in the Data Provenance & Corrections Policy.

Intellectual property and permitted use

Except for third-party names, logos, source material and submitted content, intellectual property in Extractives Directory is owned or controlled by Extractive Insight LLC. This includes the platform and software, visual design, branding, directory structure, taxonomy, database design, Eight-Domain Bankability Framework and original editorial content. Users receive only a limited, revocable right to access and use the service for lawful personal or internal business purposes.

Automated access and republication

You may not copy, scrape, harvest, republish, sell, license, train a competing dataset or model on, or create a competing database from substantial or systematically collected parts of the directory without prior written permission. You may not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code or use the directory in a way that violates law or third-party rights.

Third-party content and links

Websites, social profiles, filings, RSS feeds and other source material are controlled by third parties. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security or practices. Third-party names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and information.

Separate legal entities

Extractive Insight operates through separate legal entities. Each is a distinct legal person and none is liable for the obligations of another. Extractive Insight LLC operates and publishes this directory. Any commissioned work is governed by the engagement terms of the entity identified in the applicable letter of engagement.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Extractive Insight LLC excludes implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential or similar losses, or for decisions, losses or damage arising from reliance on directory content or third-party links. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes, governing law and contact

We may update the service and these terms. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules and without limiting mandatory rights that apply to you.
