Extractives Directory is an informational service operated by Extractive Insight through its United Kingdom company. By using the directory or submitting information, you agree to these terms.

Information, not advice

Directory content is general information only. It is not investment, legal, tax, technical or professional advice and must not be treated as a substitute for independent due diligence. We do not guarantee that a profile is complete, current or error-free.

Submitted content

You must be authorised to submit information and must not knowingly provide false, misleading, confidential or infringing material. You grant Extractive Insight’s United Kingdom company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to review, edit, structure, reproduce and publish submitted organisation information for the purpose of operating and promoting the directory. You retain ownership of material you are entitled to submit, and submission does not guarantee publication.

Editorial discretion and corrections

We may edit, decline, unpublish or correct a listing to protect accuracy, safety and consistency. Publication is not an endorsement or verification of an organisation, person, project, ownership interest or commercial claim. Our sourcing and right-of-reply process is described in the Data Provenance & Corrections Policy.

Intellectual property

Except for third-party names, logos, source material and submitted content, all intellectual property in Extractives Directory is owned, controlled and administered by Extractive Insight’s United Kingdom company. This includes the platform and software, visual design, branding, directory structure, taxonomy, database design, Eight-Domain Bankability Framework and original editorial content. No right or licence is transferred to users except the limited right to access and use the service for lawful personal or internal business purposes. Copying, scraping, republishing, selling or creating a competing database from substantial parts of the directory requires prior written permission.

External content

Websites, social profiles and RSS feeds are controlled by third parties. We are not responsible for their availability or content. Third-party names, logos, trademarks and source materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and information.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Extractive Insight is not liable for decisions, losses or damage arising from reliance on directory content or third-party links. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Law and contact

These terms and the intellectual property administered under them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without limiting mandatory rights that apply elsewhere. Questions and permission requests may be sent to directory@extractiveinsight.com.
